Overview

Every AXIA piece is crafted to order. The rarity is intentional — your first order is limited to
one bespoke Chain Leash per family. After your first piece, future orders are unrestricted.

This page outlines production time, shipping, duties, returns, cancellations, and care.

Lead Time

  • Production: Approx. 3 months from order confirmation (bespoke, hand-finished).
  • Variability: Timing may change due to material availability and workshop load.
  • Updates: We will notify you if a significant delay is anticipated.

Shipping

  • Origin: Ships from Japan.
  • Carriers: DHL / FedEx / EMS (selected by AXIA for each destination).
  • Regions: Worldwide shipping is available; some addresses may be excluded due to carrier policy.
  • Tracking: A tracking number will be provided when your order is dispatched.
  • Address accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout.

Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

International orders may incur customs duties, VAT/GST, brokerage, or other import fees.
These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.
AXIA cannot estimate or control these amounts.

Delivery Issues

  • Missed delivery / address issues: If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address or repeated delivery failures, re-shipment costs will be charged.
  • Damage in transit: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and item; we will assist with a carrier claim.
  • Lost parcels: We will work with the carrier to investigate; resolution depends on carrier policies.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Final Sale: Bespoke and personalized items (including hand-painted names) are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.
  • Craft variations: Minor variations in hand-painted details are a hallmark of authenticity and not considered defects.
  • Defects: In the rare case of a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Upon inspection and approval, AXIA will repair or replace at our discretion.

Cancellations & Order Changes

  • Before production: Requests may be considered; acceptance is not guaranteed.
  • After production starts: Orders cannot be cancelled or modified due to the bespoke nature.
  • Address changes: Possible prior to dispatch; additional charges may apply depending on the carrier.

Payment

  • Method: Secure checkout via Square.
  • Currency & fees: Exchange rates and foreign transaction fees are determined by your bank or card issuer.

Care & Maintenance

  • Biothane® handle: Wipe clean with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh solvents.
  • Stainless chain: Wipe dry after exposure to moisture; store in a clean, dry place.
